Ryanair Will Start Flights From Kyiv To Eindhoven, London, Manchester And Stockholm From October

The Ryanair low-cost company will start flights from Kyiv to Eindhoven, London, Manchester and Stockholm from October 2017.

Chief Commercial Officer at Ryanair David O'Brien has said this at a press-conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The company plans to conduct three flights to Eindhoven a week, five times its planes will connect Kyiv with London's Stansted, thrice a week to Manchester and four times to the Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

The company also intends to start seven flights from Lviv and plans to carry about 250,000 passengers from the two airports a year.

Mr. O'Brien noted that in the longer term, Ryanair is likely to consider locating its planes in Ukraine.

He also noted that the flights from Kyiv will be conducted from the Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv region), however does not rule out possible cooperation with the Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) in the future.

The air company intends to reach annual passenger flow of 200 million people before 2024.

Ukraine has become the 34th country covered by Ryanair.

According to the air company, tickets for the new flights from Kyiv and Lviv will be EUR 19.99 until 00:00, March 16.

Ryanair will start conducting flights from Lviv to Eindhoven, London, Berlin, Wroclaw, Memmingen, Krakow and Budapest from late October 2017.

O'Brien said the flights to Eindhoven, London, Berlin, Budapest and Memmingen will be conducted twice a week, to Krakow and Wroclaw thrice a week.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has stated that Irish low-cost company Ryanair intends to start operation in Ukraine on March 15, 2017.

Ryanair considers an opportunity to conduct flights to/from Ukraine

In April 2015, the State Aviation Service addressed low-cost air companies offering to start flights to Lviv.
