Activists of the National Corps Party (formerly Azov) have bricked up the entrance of an outlet of Sberbank on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv.

A group of activists of the party began the action at 1 p.m.

They stopped at 1.40 p.m. having bricked up 70% of the entrance of the bank's outlet.

Police did not interfere.

The National Corps Party says it will continue actions to block operation of Russian banks in Ukraine, including by damaging ATMs, until the Russian banks end their work in the country.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the headquarters of the rail blockade says it will close outlets of Sberbank in Ukraine and urges depositors to take their money from the bank before March 24, 2017.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov accuses Sberbank of financing militants in Donbas.
