The International Monetary Fund has scheduled the third revision of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) loan program for Ukraine for its March 20 meeting.
The IMF has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, on March 20, the IMF will consider two issues: financing of Ukraine and Qatar.
The IMF is expected to allocate USD 1 billion to Ukraine as a result of the revision.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 11, 2015, the IMF approved the EFF program for Ukraine with the total amount of USD 17.5 billion for the period of 4 years.
Ukraine received the tranche of USD 5 billion on March 13, 2015 and USD 1.7 billion on August 4, 2015.
In September 2016, the IMF approved allocation of the third tranche worth USD 1 billion to Ukraine.
