Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk expects the fourth loan tranche from the International Monetary Fund to be disbursed to Ukraine in late March.

Danyliuk announced this to reporters, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"A meeting of the IMF executive board is scheduled for March 20. This means that the tranche will be received literally within three days after a decision," he said.

According to him, the memorandum of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF will be published in accordance with the relevant procedure.

"First, it will be published by the IMF, then according to the procedure. That (increase in the retirement age) is not in it," the minister said.

The International Monetary Fund recently announced officially that it planned to consider disbursing a tranche of USD 1 billion to Ukraine under its Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program on Monday, March 20.

At the same time, the IMF said that pension reform was one of the key issues in the cooperation program.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the IMF approved an EFF loan program worth a total of USD 17.5 billion over a period of four years for Ukraine on March 11, 2015.

Ukraine received the first tranche of USD 5 billion on March 13, 2015, and the second tranche of USD 1.7 billion on August 4, 2015.

The IMF approved disbursement of the third tranche of USD 1 billion to Ukraine in September 2016.
