The headquarters of the rail blockade urges the Cabinet of Ministers to revise the policy of trade with Russia and sign agreements on supplies of coal from other countries before April 2, 2017.

Anatolii Vinohorodskyi, a representative of the headquarters, announced this at the press center of Ukrainian News Agency.

"We are giving the government time until April 2 to sign agreements on coal supplies from countries that do not wage with Ukraine and to revise its policy on trade with Russia," he said.

According to him, activists will start the active phase of the blockade from April 2.

"First and foremost we will be blocking coal imports from Russia," he said.

The headquarters believes the Verkhovna Rada must adopt a law making trade with Russia impossible.

"We will toughen our blockade," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Russia and Germany consider inadmissible the rail blockade at the contact line in Donbas.
