Latvia's Court Arrests USD 26 Million Of Ex-MP Ivaniuschenko For Special Confiscation

Court in the Republic of Latvia has arrested USD 26 million of former Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the Party of Regions Yurii Ivaniuschenko for further special confiscation.

Deputy Prosecutor General Yevhen Yenin has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, the ruling of the court cannot be appeal against.

"Ivaniuschenko conclusively lost an opportunity to return that money, instead Ukraine has chance to see those funds as soon as respective verdict on Ivaniuschenko takes effect in Ukraine," Yenin said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the PGO had said that all criminal cases against Ivaniuschenko were unified and underwent investigation.
