Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Hontareva has said this at a press-conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The chair of the central bank also noted that the NBU continues monitoring the market situation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January, the international reserves of the NBU lowered by 0.6% to USD 15.445 billion.
In January, the NBU sold USD 235.8 million within interventions in the interbank foreign currency market.
At the same time, the central bank acquired USD 157.8 million and USD 11 million in the course of interventions.
