European Parliament To Consider Granting Ukrainian Citizens Visa-Free Travel On April 5

The European Parliament plans to consider the issue of granting Ukrainian citizens the right of visa-free travel to the European Union on April 5.

This is stated in information posted on the website of the European Parliament, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the information, the approximate date of the relevant session of the European Parliament is April 5.

The European Parliament recently postponed consideration of the issue of granting Ukrainian citizens visa-free travel to the European Union from February 1 to April 3, 2017.

Later, the European Parliament deleted information about consideration of the issue of granting Ukrainian citizens visa-free travel to the European Union on April 3, 2017 from its official website.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Petro Poroshenko has welcomed the successful conclusion of the trialogue between the European Commission, the European Parliament, and Council of the European Union on liberalization of the European Union's visa regime for Ukraine.
