The National Bank of Ukraine expects the memorandum with the International Monetary Fund to be signed at the earliest possible time.
Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Hontareva has said this at a press-conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Hontareva states that the International Monetary Fund provided Ukraine with the final version of the cooperation memorandum on March 1.
Some media reports that the memorandum with the IMF had allegedly already been signed.
However, sources of the Ukrainian News Agency in the governmental circles refuted that information.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last week in Washington (the United States), Hontareva had negotiations with representatives of the IMF on allocation of the next USD-1-billion tranche to Ukraine.
Besides, Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk was expected to travel to the United States, however, the trip did not take place.
