Turkey will be assigning USD 3.1 million a year for the needs of the Ukrainian army during five years till 2022. Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andrii Sybiha said this in an interview for Ukrainian News Agency. Turkey has allocated 250 tons of humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian army. In the two recent years, the Ambassador added, Turkey has been accepting children of Ukrainian servicemen (200-300 persons) for health improvement and rehabilitation in Antalya: this year it will receive another group of children. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine in December 2016 agreed with Turkey on allocation of USD 3.1 million for the needs of the Ukrainian army in 2017. In March 2015, Turkey decided to assign USD 50 million for Ukraine to cover the central government budget deficit.
