President Petro Poroshenko expects more than UAH 3 billion to be allocated to Dnipropetrovsk region for repair of roads this year.
Poroshenko announced this in Dnipro, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"UAH 1 billion will come from local budgets and the region expects to receive almost UAH 3 billion from Ukravtodor," he said.
Poroshenko added that he expected repair of roads in Kryvyi Rih to be prioritized this year and the issue of construction of a bypass road in Dnipro to be raised in a few years.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers recently said that it expected to spend UAH 35 billion on construction of roads in 2017.
