Member of Parliament Andrii Artemenko (independent) has confirmed that he has citizenship of Canada.
He told this to Ukrainian News Agency.
"I declare that I have citizenship of Canada and Ukraine. It is a topic of a separate press conference how many more passports I have," he said.
He denies being a citizen of the Russian Federation.
According to him, close to 100 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have more than one citizenship.
He did not name any of them.
According to the electronic declaration of Artemenko for 2015, his son and daughter are citizens of the United States and one more son is a citizen of Canada.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Member of Parliament Ihor Mosiichuk from the faction of the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko says MP Andrii Artemenko has Canada's citizenship.
