No Centralized Power Supply In Avdiivka As Of 7 AM

The State Emergency Situations Service notes that there were no centralized power supply in Avdiivka, Donetsk Region as of 7 a.m., Monday.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a Service's statement.

It reads that 11 generators are powering social facilities and public amenities that have no their own standby electric power systems.

Centralized water supply is arranged from the city storage reservoir according to the schedule.

The Emergencies Service has engaged 33 staff and 12 machines in the repair and recovery work.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, on February 26, repair crews were unable to proceed to repairing power lines in Avdiivka because militants refused to provide security guarantees.

The 110kV high-voltage power line Makiivka 1 - Avdiivka Coke Plant No.2 was damaged following combat action resulted in termination of power supply in Avdiivka.
