The Vienna court rejected inquiry of the Vienna prosecution to detain businessman Dmytro Firtash within the framework of the case upon his extradition to the United States and released him without any additional bail.
Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from one of Firtash's lawyers.
"Dmytro Firtash is released at no additional conditions," the lawyer said.
Firtash was detained on February 23 within the framework of the case upon his extradition to the United States.
Earlier on the same day, the court rejected Spanish inquiry to detain Firtash.
"Dmytro Firtash denies all accusations against him and we are confident his innocence will be proved," Firtash's lawyers said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 21, the Vienna court declared possible the extradition of Firtash to the United States having satisfied the appeal of the Austrian prosecution.
At that, Justice Minister of Austria Wolfgang Brandstetter will have to approve the final decision on the case.
