The Government of Thailand has prolonged the free-of-charge procurement of visas for up to 60 days by Thai diplomatic and consular institutions abroad till August 31.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Moreover, the cost of the 'visas upon arrival' has been halved for the same period of 2017: citizens of 21 countries including Ukraine can draw them at 48 international checkpoints in Thailand.
For Ukrainians such visas cost approximately USD 30.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, the Cabinet of Ministers in October 2016 assented a draft intergovernmental trade agreement with Thailand.
