Groysman Predicts Deficit-Free Pension Fund Before 2024

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman predicts a deficit-free Pension Fund before 2024.

Prime Minister Groysman announced this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"It is necessary to overcome the deficit of the Pension Fund which makes over UAH 140 billion... I think, if a correct approach is taken, we will come to the deficit-free Pension Fund before 2024," the prime minister said.

Prime Minister Groysman says he studies all initiatives regarding the pension reform.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Social Police Minister Andrii Reva stands for paying pensions only to unemployed pensioners and for an option of buying employment record.

Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko advocates the opportunity for employed pensioners to get retirement benefits.

The vice prime minister said he did not support the idea of purchase of lacking years of service.
