The Cabinet of Ministers has endorsed midterm budget planning.
The Government made this decision at the session on Tuesday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
This planning provides for setting strategic aims and indicators of the chief budget institutions.
Implementation of the midterm planning strategy foresees amendments to the Budget Code, which will be prepared throughout the running year.
Alterations to the spending calendar are planned too.
The Ministry of Finance will draw a budget plan for the years 2018-2020.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers on February 14 approved the report on results of fulfillment of the Government action programme in 2016, and sent it to the Verkhovna Rada.
