Social Police Minister of Ukraine Andrii Reva stands for paying pensions only to unemployed pensioners and for an option of buying employment record.
The Minister gave the position in an interview for Realist internet paper, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"After the pension reform, when pensions are big enough, it will be necessary to introduce a rule - you either work, get wage, and retire some time later, but your pension will be higher, or you retire, get a pension, but you don't work," he added.
Minister Reva said the first variant of the draft law on the pension reform was ready. He did not say when the final wording of the draft law would be ready.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 24 Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko said a presentation of the draft law on the pension reform for public discussions would be within a month or two.
The Vice Prime Minister said he did not support the idea of an option of buying employment record.
