The European Parliament is considering the situation in Avdiivka, Donetsk Region on Tuesday, February 14. Ukrainian News Agency learned this from the EP agenda. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, is supposed to participate in a debate on the situation in eastern Ukraine after noon. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Member of the European Parliament Rebecca Harms, Co-Chair of Greens\/European Free Alliance, said on February 6 during the meeting of the EP Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE) that ceasefire in Donbas is impossible without withdrawal of heavy weaponry and return of control over the Ukraine\/Russia border to Ukraine. Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze in her turn informed MEPs at the meeting about the situation in Avdiivka and stressed that Russia was not interested in implementation of the agreements reached in Minsk, Belarus on February 12, 2015.
