The Ministry of Justice registered the procedure for verifying electronic asset declarations of public officials on Monday, February 13.
Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The Ministry of Justice keeps its word. As I promised, the Ministry of Justice registered the procedure for performing full verification of electronic asset declarations today," he wrote.
According to him, the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) now has a mechanism for verifying the electronic asset declarations, and it can now begin.
In addition, according to him, a working group should finalize the procedure for monitoring the lifestyles of public officials in the near future.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Justice intended to register the procedure for verifying electronic asset declarations of public officials on Monday, February 13.
