Competition Commission Selects Bushuyev, Vyshnevskyi, Kniazev Candidates For Head Of National Police

The competition commission has selected three candidates for the post of head of the National Police of Ukraine: Kostiantyn Buzhuyev, deputy head of the National Police/head of staff, lawyer Andrii Vyshnevskyi, and Serhii Kniazev, the head of the criminal investigation department of the National Police.

A member of the competition commission announced this at a press conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov will select one of the three candidates to nominate for the post before the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Chief of the National Police Directorate in Kyiv Andrii Kryschenko and Acting Chief of the National Police Vadym Troyan have refused from participating in the competition.
