DTEK Engineers Unable To Proceed To Repairing Power Lines In Avdiivka, Donetsk Region Over Shelling By Militants

DTEK Energy power engineers were unable to proceed to repairing power lines in Avdiivka, Donetsk Region as the shelling by militants continues.

Company Director General Musa Magomedov announced this on Facebook on January 30 night, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Chairman of the Donetsk regional civilian-military administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi confirms that the engineers were shot upon.

A station for accepting and handing humanitarian aid has opened in the town.

Social protection services are delivering food to the elderly.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, DTEK Energy planned to resume power supple to Avdiivka Coke Plant before February 2.

The police say that militants have resumed bombarding Avdiivka.
