Ukraine Intends To Sign Agreements With Egypt And Thailand On Transfer Of Convicts

Ukraine intends to sign agreements with Egypt and Thailand on transfer of convicts.

This is said in presidential decrees No.19 and No.20 of February 1, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Presidential decree No.19 appoints Deputy Justice Minister Serhii Petukhov head of the delegation for negotiations on the agreement with Egypt. The delegation comprises six members.

Presidential decree No.20 concerns a similar delegation for negotiations with Thailand on the bilateral agreement on transfer of convicts.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ambassador of Egypt to Ukraine Hossam Eldeen M. Aly assumed duties in August 2016.

In October 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed a draft intergovernmental trade agreement with Thailand.
