The Permanent Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will convene a meeting on Tuesday on the question of the situation in Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
The representative office of Ukraine in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe announced this on its microblog in Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine urges the OSCE member states to enhance the political and diplomatic pressure on Russia for de-escalation of the situation in Avdiivka, Donetsk Region.
The Donetsk regional civil-military administration has declared a state of emergency in Avdiivka, and set up an emergency response centre.
On 30 January 2017, the filtration plant and Avdiivka Coke Plant were left without power after militants' shelling attacks.
