Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko has said that the issue of raising the retirement age has been excluded from Ukraine's negotiations with the International Monetary Fund on the preparation of a new version of their Memorandum on Cooperation under the EFF (Extended Fund Facility) loan program. Rozenko stated this in comments to Ukrainian News Agency. "The issue of raising the retirement age has been excluded from the negotiations," said Rozenko. According to him, the negotiations on preparation of the new version of the memorandum, including on the issue of pension reform, are is still ongoing According to recently media reports, the IMF is proposing gradually raising the retirement age in Ukraine to 63 years by 2027. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine expects to receive the next tranche of the IMF loan at the beginning of February. The tranche is expected to amount to UAH 1 billion.
