The Ministry of Defence says that the Ukrainian inspection was not allowed to the places of deployment of artillery systems at the military units in Rostov Region, Russia. Oleksii Vershyhora, the leader of the combined inspection group, which was carrying out the inspection on January 16-19, announced this at a press briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports. "The inspection group discovered and visually confirmed a substantial muster of artillery systems of various types near Novocherkassk," he said. Vershyhora does not rule out that this artillery will be used to complement units of 150 motor rifle division, and also pro-Russia terrorist gangs on the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions. He stressed that representatives of Canada and Denmark were on the inspection group. The staff of 150 motor rifle division has been already formed in Persianovsky, Rostov Region (50km to the state border with Ukraine). They are actively relocating combat equipment to mass up in the districts of Rostov Region bordering on Ukraine, Vershyhora added. Moreover, the military station for this division is already 90% built. No sanctions are supposed for Russia's breach of the 2011 Vienna Document of the Negotiations on Confidence and Security-Building Measures, Vershyhora stressed. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine accuses Russia of a breach of the Vienna Document as Russia is forming a new military division near the Ukrainian border. Russia agreed to allow Ukraine to conduct inspections of military units in a district of Rostov region. The area of the district where the inspection took place is some 16,000 sq.km.
