The World Bank and the Swiss Cooperation Office are about to allocate USD 2.58 million to reform the healthcare system in Poltava and Lviv Regions. Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the Ministry of Healthcare. The project will last for three years and comprise several components. It is important in the context of implementation of the World Bank’s Serving People, Improving Health Project with a commitment amount of USD 214.73 million. The active phase of the implementation of the World Bank Project will be carried out in those regions where a lot of purchases is planned. The processes will be built so that corruption will be excluded from the very beginning. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada assigned UAH 88.7 billion for the public health sector in 2017.
