The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is set to join the process of identification of the bodies of the servicemen killed during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO). Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the press service of the Ministry of Defence. The centre for peacekeeping support and implementation of the international treaties of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hosted an interagency conference on involving the ICRC delegation in the identification of the bodies (remains) of the killed servicemen, and information and psychological follow-up to the members of the families whose relatives were killed in the ATO area. The head of the civilian military cooperation directorate of the Armed Forces says that members of the families of the perished on several occasions refused to acknowledge results of DNA tests. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the ICRC sent 10 lorries full of humanitarian aid to the terrorist-held territory of Donbas.
