The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate says the Russian command has promised to pay bonuses of RUB 9,000/month for service at the front-line position in Donbas.
The Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate announced this in a statement on its page in Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the statement, the measure accounts for the low incentive of the Russian occupational troops.
The Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate also reports about mass cases of abandonment of post in the 11th separate motorized rifle regiment (Makiivka) because of psychological deterioration, numerous cases humiliation of militants from the side of the command and officials.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate reported mass arrests in the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" of citizens whose relatives serve in the Ukrainian army.
