Cabinet Passes Pension Fund Budget For 2017 With Deficit Of UAH 141.5 Billion

The Cabinet of Ministers has passed the Pension Fund's budget for 2017 with a deficit of UAH 141.5 billion.

The respective decision was passed at the meeting of the government on Wednesday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the Minister of Social Policy Andrii Reva, the budget of the Pension Fund is growing in comparison with the previous year.

"The budget of the Pension Fund grows comparing with the previous year, where we had UAH 257 billion, to UAH 284 billion", the Minister said.

According to him, the volume of donations from the state budget to the budget of the Pension Fund in the current year decreased to UAH 141.5 billion from UAH 145 billion (in 2016).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the plan of revenues of the Pension Fund in 2016 was exceeded by UAH 1.2 billion.
