Parliamentary Deputy Serhii Pashynskyi of the People's Front parliamentary faction has three pieces of honorary weapons, two hunting carbines, and two hunting shotguns.
The National Police announced this in a statement in response to a request from Ukrainian News Agency.
"We hereby inform you that according to the automated police database, citizen Pashynskyi S. V. is the owner of three pieces of honorary weapons, two pieces of hunting carbines, and two pieces of hunting shotguns," the statement said.
In addition, the National Police said it was unable to answer a question about the type and caliber of the weapon that Pashynskyi fired on 31 December 2016 because the criminal proceeding that was launched in connection with the firing of the weapon is being investigated by the Prosecutor-General’s Office.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Pashynskyi recently said that the pistol from which he fired on citizen Viacheslav Khimikus on 31 December 2016 was an honorary weapon that was presented to him in March 2014, when he was the acting head of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
