The National Police has completed the official investigation and is ready to bring to disciplinary responsibility the policemen guilty of the shootout in Kniazhychi, Kyiv Region.
Deputy Chief of the National Police / Head of the Main Investigations Directorate Oleksandr Vakulenko announced this at a press briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The National Police will discipline the guilty police officers on January 13 or 16.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, five policemen were shot to death when firing at each other in Kniazhychi December 4.
Two police guard service staff, two Kyiv police operatives and a KORD special unit fighter were killed.
The Prosecutor-General's Office (PGO) suspects the leaders of the special police operation in Kniazhychi of negligence of duty.
