The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) sold USD 55.5 million at the auction on Friday, January 13, while the demand was USD 82 million.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a regulator's statement.
The minimum sell rate was 27.60 UAH/USD and the maximum 27.70 UAH/USD.
The NBU filled 7.2% of the total satisfied bids at the auction's maximum rate.

In January, the NBU bought USD 23.8 million, sold USD 161.7 million at auctions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2016, the NBU bought USD 2.458 million and sold USD 906 million at auctions.
