Court Adjourns Hearing Of Appeal Against Extension Of Ex-MP Yefremov's (Party Of Regions) Arrest To January 17

The Kyiv Court of Appeal has adjourned the hearing of the appeal against the extension of the detention in custody of former chairman of the Party of Regions faction at the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Yefremov, Ukrainian News Agency has learned from the tribunal.

The court sitting cannot take place on January 5 and it was postponed till January 17.

The postponement is due to several judges of the bench absent with reasonable excuses.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a court has extended Yefremov's arrest until 22 January 2017.
