Valeria Hontareva, the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, has declared UAH 52.572 million of income from the sale of her stake in Investment Capital Ukraine (ICU).
This is indicated by information in the Unified State Register of Declarations of Persons Authorized to Perform Functions of the State or Local Self-Government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement posted on December 28 reads that Valeria Hontareva received an income of UAH 52.572 million from ICU for the sale of the securities.
In 2014, Valeria Hontareva sold her stake in ICU to business her business partners Makar Paseniuk and Kostiantyn Stetsenko.
The first tranche of UAH 24.3 million in 2014 made UAH 24.3 million, in 2015 she got UAH 23.518 million as the second tranche.
The governor of the National Bank of Ukraine now declares UAH 52.6 million of income from the sale.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the family of Valeria Hontareva, the Governor of the National Bank, bought a house in Kyiv region in 2016.
