The state-owned PrivatBank will not raise the tariffs for effecting persons’ payments of fees for utilities and other services.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the bank’s press service.

PrivatBank preserves zero rates when pay for utility bills from cards issued for receipt of social security benefits.

No fees are charged on payments to suppliers of public utility services who have direct agreements with the bank.

Moreover, after January 1, 2017 the financial institution receives payments from those who have no PrivatBank account or plastic card without extra commission fees.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, today the bank charges from 1% of the amount of payment of utility bills (water, electricity, heating) and up to UAH 3 (for gas and other utilities).

The rate for paying utility bills via kiosks is UAH 2 and UAH 1 via Privat24.
