NBU Council Chairperson Danylyshyn Gets Remuneration Of UAH 194,800 For November, Council Members Get UAH 174,000 Each

Bohdan Danylyshyn, the chairperson of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine, has been paid UAH 194,800 as remuneration for November 2016 and members of the NBU Council UAH 174,000 each.

This is said in the Uniform State Register of Declarations of Persons Authorized for State or Local Self-Governance Functions, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Bohdan Danylyshyn got UAH 194,811 as remuneration for November, the NBU Council members Vera Rychakovska, Olena Scherbakova, Vasyl Furman, and Viktor Koziuk got UAH 174,000 each.

The law on the National Bank of Ukraine envisages that a member of the Council of the National Bank can be paid more than UAH 600,000 a year as remuneration.

The legislation also envisages that the annual remuneration of a member of the NBU Council cannot be higher than four maximal wages of the NBU Board member.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine on 25 October 2016 convened its first sitting. The NBU Council endorsed annual report and distribution of profit of the National Bank for 2015.
