Danyliuk Predicts Tougher Verification Of Social Payments In 2017

Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk predicts tougher verification of social payments in 2017.

The minister announced this at a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Next year we will toughen the measures of verification," he said.

According to him, in 2016 the verification of data of recipients of state housing subsidies save close to UAH 10 billion.

The Finance Ministry will change approaches of the verification.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 18, 2016, endorsed the order of verification of social payments.

The Finance Ministry said then it expected to save UAH 5 billion in 2016.
