The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the law establishing the Financial Police and creation of the Unified VAT Register.
A total of 240 members of the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the bill No. 5368 on the whole, while 226 votes were enough to pass the decision, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The members of the relevant committee excluded the term that envisions transfer of the database from the State Fiscal Service to the Finance Ministry of Ukraine.
However the said databases are expected to be audited until July 1, 2017.
The bill was adopted in first reading on December 8.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late October, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a package of amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine.
