Court Warrants Arrest Of Former President Yanukovych

The Kyiv Pecherskyi District Court has warranted arrest of former president Viktor Yanukovych suspected of a number of crimes.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko announced this on his Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Yurii Lutsenko says the Kyiv Pecherskyi District Court awarded the ruling on December 14, 2016.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine insists that former president Viktor Yanukovych is suspected of high treason and a number of other crimes.
