RF Supreme Court Rules Lawful Russia’s Entry Ban On Ukrainian President's Envoy Jemilev

The Supreme Court of Russia has ruled as lawful the ban for Member of Parliament Mustafa Jemilev (Petro Poroshenko Bloc), the President's envoy on Crimean Tatar affairs, to enter the Russian Federation.

His lawyer Mark Feygin announced this via Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The defence will appeal this judgement at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People in April 2014 said that Jemilev was banned from entering Russia till 2019.
