One civilian was killed and one was wounded after militants had shelled checkpoint Mayorsk in Donetsk Region.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
At about 09:00, RF-terrorist troops opened small-arms fire at the checkpoint.
Border-crossing operations stopped and frontier guards immediately removed people from the firing line.
Medical aid was provided to the injured man; he is now in a satisfactory state.
