Kyiv Council To Put Up For An Auction 23 Premises Of Oschadbank Branches

The Kyiv City Council's standing committee on property plans to put up for an auction 23 premises of State Savings Bank Oschadbank branches in Kyiv.

Chairman of the committee, Leonid Antonenko, announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In his words, this is a compulsory measure because 23 Oschadbank branches in Desnianskyi and Solomyanskyi districts since February have been occupying the city-owned premises without any legal grounds.

The committee on December 13 is considering the issue of putting these premises on the vacant list and put them for an auction.

Antonenko estimates at UAH 8.6 million the losses Oschadbank has inflicted on the city budget this year by refusing to sign tenancy agreements for the premises that accommodate the bank branches.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Oschadbank PJSC is 100% owned by the State.
