Kyiv Airport Announce Changes In Flight Timetable Over Nasty Weather And Boryspil Airport Suspends Receiving Flights Over Heavy Icy Rain

The Kyiv international airport (Zhuliany) has announced changes in the flight timetable over nasty weather.

The airport announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Due to the unfavorable weather there are some changes in the flight timetable," reads the statement.

The Boryspil international airport outside Kyiv has suspended servicing flights over heavy icy rain.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October 2016, the Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) boosted the passenger flow by 59.7% to 101,100 passengers year over year.

Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) is located within the city of Kyiv 8 kilometers from its center.

In October, the Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv region) increased the passenger flow by 20% to 797,400 passengers as against the same period of 2015, and by 42% more than in the same period of 2014.

The Boryspil International Airport is located 29 kilometers to southeast from Kyiv and occupies the territory of 943 hectares.
