Kyiv Opens Teremky Motobus Terminal

The Kyiv city state administration says the Teremky motorbus terminal has opened on the belt road in Holosiivskyi district.

Correspondent of Ukrainian News reports this from the scene.

The Teremky motorbus terminal has been built with engagement of international experts and new technologies.

There will be a free bus route to a subway station.

The capacity of the motorbus terminal is 8,500 passengers a day.

"The Teremky motorbus terminal will be in private hands. This is better for the city, as we won't have to spend funds for the development of the terminal and wages of the personnel. But we will immediately earn UAH 57 million of participation interest," said Serhii Maizel, director of the transport infrastructure department.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July 2016 the Kyiv city council endorsed opening of the Teremky motorbus terminal on the belt road in Holosiivskyi district.
