Interior Ministry Intends To Pay Compensations To Relatives Of Policemen Killed In Kniazhychi, Kyiv Region

The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ukraine intends to pay compensations to relatives of policemen who were shot to death when firing at each other in Kniazhychi, Kyiv Region, in early hours of December 4.

Member of Parliament Anton Heraschenko from the faction of the People's Front announced this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Compensations will be paid in compliance with the legislation. I believe the sum of the compensation is close to UAH 700,000," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, five policemen were shot to death when firing at each other in Kniazhychi, Kyiv Region, on December 4.
