Sofia Poll: 46.5% Of Respondents Say Poroshenko Incapable Of Stopping Aggression In Donbas

According to a poll conducted by the Sofia social research centre in November, 46.5% of Ukrainians believe President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is incapable of stopping the aggression in Donbas.

The poll results were presented at Ukrainian News Agency's press centre.

Respondents were asked whether President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was capable of arriving at agreement on stopping the way in Donbas or another President was needed for that.

Of those polled, 45.6% said only another President would be able to stop the war in Donbas.

Of those polled, 28.5% said President Petro Poroshenko was capable of doing that, 17.7% of respondents said they were undecided.

Of those polled, 7.3% chose one of there options.

The poll was conducted in all regions (in the government-held territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions; in Crimea it was not held).

They questioned 2,017 full-aged respondents by personal interview.

The statistical error does not exceed 2.2%.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September 2016, 71.1% of respondents polled by the Sofia center disliked the work of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
