The Cabinet of Ministers has included anti-terrorist operation (ATO) combatants in the category of citizens for whose employment their employers are entitled to reimbursement for expenses in the amount of the social security tax.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from Government Resolution 879 of November 30.

The employer can get such compensation within one year on conditions that an ATO combatant is placed for a new job for at least two years.

The Cabinet also addressed the issues of registration and re-registration of the employed ATO combatants.

In particular, ATO combatant's card and a copy of the official document certifying the holder's immediate participation in the ATO have been added to the list of document an ATO combatant has to submit to the employment centre to be granted the status of unemployed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 183,000 servicemen and Armed Forces personnel have been granted the combatant status as of November 8 since the start of the ATO.
