The file store EX.UA intends to sell the domain for USD 1 million.
EX.UA announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"In order to end any speculations about possible 'foreign' future of the resource we announce the following: the most expensive domain of UANET is for sale. The price of the domain EX.UA is USD 1 million," reads the statement.
The statement reads that 100% of the funds raised from the sale will be used for charity, namely urgent medical treatment of children.
The statement reads that the team of the file store is eyeing creation of a closed file store.
"It will be announced about the new project and its name on 21 December 2016," reads the statement.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the file store EX.UA has decided to stop operation.
