Former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has said that the issue of return to Ukrainian politics is not a priority for him.
Yanukovych was speaking at a press conference in Rostov-on-Don (Russia), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Regarding my return to politics ... What am I generally thinking about, let's say dreaming about? I dream that the war in Ukraine, my country, in Donbas will end as soon as possible... That is what I am thinking about, not yet about anything else," the former president said.
At the same time, Yanukovych stressed that the information available to him indicated that about 80% of Ukrainian citizens were dissatisfied with the current government.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv postponed the cross-examination of Yanukovych via a video link in connection with the case of five former Berkut riot police officers accused of shooting 48 Euromaidan activists to November 28 on Friday.
